For all his mystery, it's kind of ironic that I chose to paint him in blacks, whites and greys and in an even simpler style. No paper or reference used.

Tools used; Wacom Graphire and Painter 7.0

Pretty simple, but it's a nice piece. Sometimes simple is good.

A few carefully placed highlights/ details within the coat might add a little more depth to it. Like where light might hit a wrinkle, or a button, or a seam. Something like that.

Couldn't have come from a better series though. The suikoden series was great.
